Matt Tata, Ph.D

Associate Professor

Matt did his undergrad in Biological Systems Technology at Cornell University and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Neuroscience at UBC. He is interested in neural mechanisms of perception and attention, robotics, neurotechnology and guitars (but not always in that order).

For the 2013 - 2014 academic year Matt was on sabbatical at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa, Italy where he worked with the iCub humanoid robot and ate pesto.
